Q: Where do we need to go on May 27 and when?

A: We will meet at the Glen Rose High School (look for the tent in the parking lot) at 8:00 a.m. for an orientation, team/river segment assignments, and light breakfast. The  Glen Rose High School address is:

Q: Do we need to bring our own canoe or kayak?

A: We expect to have canoes and kayaks for most, if not all participants. When you register, please indicate if you plan to bring your own. There will also be a segment of the clean-up for some participants to walk and pick up trash along the shoreline.

Q: What is the benefit of the Brazos River Clean Up?

A: When you take action, you’ll help protect the delicate living river system and the wildlife that depend on it. Raccoons, ducks, turtles, and even marine wildlife like dolphins, sea turtles, and pelicans will have a safer habitat all the way down to the Gulf. Join the Friends of the Brazos River, Rio Brazos Chapter Texas Master Naturalist and Texas Conservation Alliance to protect and keep the Brazos River clean!
